Have an acquired brain injury and legal hassles?
Monday, 01 March 2010 00:00
Are you an Australian resident with an acquired brain injury AND a legal problem?
If so, Brain Injury Australia may be able to help, by arranging free legal assistance.
To be eligible to apply for assistance you must be in a position where you have tried and failed to obtain other forms of free legal assistance such as legal aid or a private solicitor prepared to act on a "no win, no fee" basis. Assistance is available for civil and some criminal matters.
If you wish us to arrange assistance, you will be asked to complete a simple form, or have someone complete it on your behalf. The form asks for:
- your contact details
- information about your financial circumstances
- information about your legal problem
We will then pass the form to our solicitors who will assess your eligibility and contact you directly about your application.
