Concussion in Sport Forum Tuesday 9 June 2015

Brain Injury Australia, in association with Royal Rehab, the 2015 Ice Hockey Classic tournament (United States ‘v’ Canada) and Canada-based concussion awareness and education platform www.stopconcussions.com, will be holding a Concussion in Sport Forum at Royal Rehab, in Sydney’s Ryde between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. next Tuesday 9th June. The Forum will update best practice in the education, assessment and management of concussion in sport.

Speakers include: Kerry Goulet, former European ice hockey player, co-founder of stopconcussions.com; Keith Primeau, a 15-year veteran of North America’s National Hockey League; Dr. Sharron Flahive, Chief Medical Officer of the NSW Waratahs Super Rugby Team, Dr. Clayton King Medical Director of Royal Rehab’s Brain Injury Unit; and Nick Rushworth, the Executive Officer of Brain Injury Australia.
