Do you get Judged for Using Accessible Facilities Because you Don’t “Look Disabled”? Have Your say in a Survey!

“But you LOOK okay!”

Are you sometimes judged unfairly for using accessible facilities because, for example, you don’t use a wheelchair? As many as 3 in every 4 people with a brain injury make a good PHYSICAL recovery. But their disabilities are often things you can’t see – challenges to thinking, to memory, to behaviour. Which is why it’s often referred to as the “invisible” disability.

Brain Injury Australia’s partner, Blue Badge Insurance Australia, is trying to raise awareness of “invisible” disabilities and invite you to complete an anonymous survey about your experiences. It will only take 5 minutes.
