Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre Donates to Brain Injury Australia

For the past 25 years, Melbourne’s Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre has invited a distinguished Australian working in the field of sports medicine to deliver the annual FC Better Lecture, named after Dr. Fred Better – known as the “Father of Sports Medicine” – who delivered Australia’s first sports medicine course for General Practitioners.

2017’s FC Better Lecture will be delivered by Pieter Rossouw, pictured, Professor in Brain Based Education at Central Queensland University, Director of Mediros Clinical Solutions, The BRAINGro Institute and The Neuropsychotherapy Institute – companies that provide training and conduct research in neurobiology and neuropsychotherapy – and he is also President of The International Association of Clinical Neuropsychotherapy.

Professor Rossouw’s lecture will be on, “Performance and resilience: new measures and directions from neuroscience perspective”, and held at AAMI Park Stadium, 60 Olympic Blvd, Melbourne, on Wednesday 22nd March at 7.30 p.m.

All $10.00 ticket sales will be donated to Brain Injury Australia.
